Who is Katie Frances Studio?

Hello! I'm so glad you're here. My name is Katie Edmiston and I'm the face behind Katie Frances Studio. My paintings offer a glimpse into my emotional experience and inner world. 

I am a Michigan-based oil and pastel painter dedicated to bringing the emotional power of nature into your home. I received my Bachelors of Art in Studio Art from Spring Arbor University in 2017. I have been creating art for most of my life, experimenting with portraiture, still life, and landscape across many mediums. Nature has always captivated me, and naturally became the most authentic expression of my artistic voice. My work is inspired by the diverse natural beauty found in my home state of Michigan and from destinations I've traveled to around the world.
